Back in the Game EP30: Happy Birthday Bouncy!

Real life and a gaming news funk shape this weeks show, as Bouncy celebrates his ’35th’ birthday and my partner’s eye fell out…

That said, we huddled around a laptop in my kitchen – nestled between a cookery book stand and a spice rack – to put out this collection of audio bits and bobs.

Games covered include Gears of War Ultimate Edition, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta, Tapped Out, Pac-Man 256, Half-Line Miami and more.

We drift in to cinema, with discussions including Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Fantastic Four, Fassbender’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie, the DC Universe films and suggestions of a Borderlands big screen outing.

We also discuss – albeit briefly – an upcoming Kickstarter project related to the classic Fighting Fantasy books and find out if I was able to live up to my name and steal a copy of Hero Quest from a teenager.

Oh, and Bouncy had a birthday cake shaped like a potato. It was glorious.
